this is a must have for people still like to use outboard midi gear, of which there are not many left. the motu microlite works well, and if it stops working, becuase of usb issues or driver related issues, you can remove the old drivers and reload them momentarily and get right back to work. I personally dont like the usb as opposed to the old parallel port interfaces, but motu has abandoned the old paralell format as have all mobo manufacturers. for the price, the motu micro lite is unbeatable
