Lots of Piano For the Price!

This baby is loaded! Sort of like getting a steal on a car that's got that fully loaded package with the sunroof, the better audio system, the leather seats... you get the idea. Yamaha must have said,"Yanno what? Let's just rock it with the YPG-535." And so they did. It's an 88-key portable piano, so when you think about it... its 37 lbs., 8 oz weight is majorly slim. ESPECIALLY when you factor in the graded soft touch action, that makes it feel more natural — more piano-like — under your fingertips, you know? What's cool is that the YPG-535 is 500 something voices built-in. You can go from traditional stuff... piano, electric piano, organ, etc. — all the way to out-there synthy type things. Whatever music you're going to play or cover, you can bet there's a sound in here to make it happen.

Speaking of "making it happen" soundwise, the nice thing about the Yamaha YPG-535 is that there are speakers on it. You don't have to screw around with buying a speaker or something just to play. Just turn it on!! Of course, you can also plug headphones in and take your practice on the quiet side (maybe the wild side, we don't really know you). Whatever you do, once you have an idea there's the 6-track sequencer for you to record it and sketch it out — comes in handy. And you'll dig the Score and Lyric display feature. And if you're new to piano or someone in your house is, you can use the included Yamaha Education Suite to learn 30 built-in songs plus 70 more on an included CD-ROM. An instrument that actually TEACHES you? Yep. And there's a nice Chord Dictionary too.
