Vintech has produced the new X81 Class A microphone preamplifier with equalizer. While many people love the classic Neve 1081 module because of its versatile equalizer section, many feel that its use of Class AB amps causes it to lack that certain "magic" associated with the Class A amps found in the Neve 1073 module. The Vintech X81 Class A features the same amazing microphone preamplifier as our X73, but with a more comprehensive 4-band equalizer with Q adjustments on the two midrange frequencies.Vintech utilizes the same Class A amp designs found in the original Neve 1073 module throughout the X81 Class A. The equalizer section features ten low/mid frequency points, ten hi/mid frequencies, and five frequency choices on both the low and high shelving adjustments. The X81 Class A also includes a highpass filter, a DI, and an out strength meter.
The Vintech X81 Class A preamplifier requires an X73 power supply.
