What a kit! The TAMA VL62 is a part of TAMA's Silverstar series, an all-birch beast of a kit that sounds great, and doesn't cost a fortune either. With this rich, resonant beauty you get an 18" x 22" kick drum, two mounted toms in 8" x 10" and 9" x 12" configurations, a 12" x 14" floor tom, a 14" x 16" floor tom, and a 5" x 14" snare drum. You also get quality Roadpro drum hardware. Nice. To really sing with even more resonance, TAMA gave the VL62 their Star-mount system that has minimal contact points for major resonance and sustain. Add in the nice swiveling eye bolts and a slidable tom holder for easy adjusting and you've got a great kit in the TAMA VL62.
