Guitar God Tone in Pedal Form!

First off (and, pay attention to this, 'cause it's really important), you should know that this is not the exact same pedal Joe Satriani plays on stage... that one is in his rig... you can't have it. You can, however, have a perfect copy of that pedal. That's right - as opposed to lots of "signature" effects and amps, the Satchurator isn't a sound-alike job, it's the exact same gear Joe Satriani actually uses on stage. That probably has a lot to do with how the Satchurator came to be in the first place. The original prototype went back and forth between Joe and the factory at least 24 times before they nailed it down, and that was after quite a bit of R&D to begin with. Here's why.

Joe Satriani doesn't use the dirty channel on his amp. Instead, he relies solely on his pedals to achieve the same effect. That's why he insisted on making sure that the Satchurator would be able to produce a wide range of distortion tones and play well with his other gear. In addition to the gain, tone, and output volume that EVERY distortion pedal has, there's also a boost switch so you can hit your amp harder and a pad switch so you can put the Satchurator after other high-output pedals. No matter how you set it though, the Satchurator will preserve your guitar's natural tone and maintain a solid pick attack, delivering crunch to full-throttle leads, without smothering your sound. You want musical distortion with killer clarity, then you want the Satchurator!
