Why We Love This Product!

If You Use Mics, then You Need This One!

Nothing else comes close! Put the Shure 57 on drums, guitar amps, vocals... you name it. It flat-out gets the job done. Plus, it's ridiculously tough. Plus, its amazingly affordable! You just can't beat that kind of combination. Unless your cave doesn't include a TV, a radio, or a music player of some sort, you've seen and heard the SM57 in action. Studios and stages worldwide depend on this mic, so, if you don't have one, you're missing out. Want that classic snare sound heard on countless hit records? Put a 57 on it. Same thing goes for amps. Amps love the SM57's wide frequency range, narrow pickup pattern, and "just right" character.

Are you tough on your gear? Then just stop reading now and get your hands on this mic! Long story short — here's how the guys from Shure demonstrated how rugged this mic is: they dropped it from six floors up. Onto a hard surface. Then they plugged it in, and it still worked. How's that for "road ready?" Best of all, you don't need a bundle of cash to enjoy this versatile mic. At this price, you can equip your rig with several!

What can I say....

Music Background: engineer
It's an SM57. Works on guitar cabs, snares, horns, and whatever else you want. Not always the best mic for a given situation, but it's certainly capable. Best thing about an SM57 is they're nearly indestructible. I don't know how many times mine has been hit by drummers and it still works great. Every engineer needs at least 3 of these!
