The sE Electronics SFH Mount is a designed for the sE X1 and 4400A microphones. It's vitally important to shockmount your large diaphragm condenser mics. These mics are very sensitive, and will pick up even slight vibrations and send them to your DAW - unless you either roll off bottom, or use a shockmount. Without a shockmount, subsonic rumbles and audible ones will be transmitted from the floor and up through your mic stand right to your mic. If the unwanted noise is very subtle, you'll just end up with lackluster, cloudy sound from your expensive mic. Don't let this happen!
