All seemed fine until I tried the lock. The keys are a very simple and although I managed to lock the case I wasn't able to unlock it. The keys are made from a poor quality metal that bend easily under force. I couldn't open it by key so I had to force the lock, which was surprisingly easy. Anyhow, I didn't buy the case for it's lock, so I don't give it much importance. The interior was in flawless condition, the foam surrounded my Schecter Hellraiser C-8 perfectly and so there were no problems during transport (a friend brought me the guitar all the way from the US to Romania). There is an aluminum band along the middle of the case, where the two sides close, which made it seal properly. There is no rubber band between however, so I don't know how it will resist to rain for instance, it might leak inside.
The overall impression is good, I had to buy something to fit my guitar perfectly so I didn't want to take a chance with other cases. The flaws I could identify are probably due to the fact that the case is manufactured in China (no surprise there). I guess that if you want a case to move your guitar to a gig or something and don't have to use the lock there is no problem, the content will be well protected.
