Its a classic distortion

I don't use the Rat pedal the way you may expect, I turn the volume up to hit my guitar amp hard and get lead tone like you wouldn't believe, but its also great for those times when I have to play thru another amp that doesn't have a good lead channel. Nice for guitar overdubs too when you're recording.
