The Godin Passion RG-3 guitars are an evolution of the typical single-coil guitar.The Godin Passion RG-3 series uses incredibly resonant woods for the body and top. You can choose between sitka spruce or red cedar for the body of your guitar. Sitka spruce bodies are finished with flamed maple tops, while the red cedar RG-3s are finished with a mahogany top. The carefully designed chambering system provides exceptional tone, resonance, and a lightweight body.
Not only does the RG-3 have custom pickups, but Godin also included their High-Definition Revoicer (HDR) to ensure killer tone. The HDR has four custom-tuned preamps, it takes the passive pickups and makes them active which actually changes the pickup's character and gives them great definition. It is like having ten pickup settings instead of five. Godin's Passion RG-3 gives you the tones you need.
