Engineers search the world over for working vintage Pultec units. They're magical units that impart a special magic on everything that passes through them. Manley re-creates the Pultec sound with their Pultec EQP-1A, complete with the permission and blessing of Pultec designer Eugene Shenk. Very similar to a vintage unit, the Manley Pultec EQP-1A does differ by adding the Manley-designed all-tube make-up gain block to reamplify the signal after the EQ circuit (and they also upgraded the power supply and snuck in a couple of extra frequency bands too!). Not to mention the Manley Pultec is 2/3 the size of the vintage units!
