To take complete control over the sounds, UVI Soundcard PlugSound Pro includes Ultimate Sound Bank's UVI Workstation software. It's compatible with AU, VST, RTAS, and MAS plug-in formats on Macs and PCs. It also works as a standalone jobs. UVI Workstation offers a Smart Browser, tempo syncing, simple previewing, MIDI-mapping, unlimited effects and disk streaming, intelligent use of CPU resources, and more. It even comes with a host of built-in effects, including excellent convolution reverb. Alternatively, you can also use the samples with MOTU's MachFive II sampler.
Rich keyboard sounds
If it's keyboard and piano sounds you're after, you'll find them aplenty in UVI Soundcard PlugSound Pro. In the sample library, you'll get acoustic pianos across classical, jazz, and pop styles, in addition to more Honky-tonk and detuned-style pianos. There are also famous "suitcase-style" electric pianos, plus electric organ, clavinet, synth-based keyboard sounds, church organ, accordion, celesta, vibraphone, music box, and xylophone.
Fretted instrument sounds
Ultimate Sound Bank gave the UVI Soundcard PlugSound Pro a ton of old school fretted instrument sounds, including a wonderful acoustic guitar section. There's an exceptional "Spanish-style" nylon guitar, famous 12- and 6-string acoustic guitars, plus Dobro and Bottleneck presets to give the collection color.
