Much better than you'd think

Music Background: Renaissance Man (everything)

I purchased a pair of these speakers for my mobile DJ rig. They have plenty of bottom-end punch--enough, in fact, that I haven't felt the need to add a sub to my system yet. I've also used them as stage wedges, and they did a fine job (maybe a bit on the overkill side). However, these speakers really earned my respect, when I suddenly needed to provide full sound reinforcement for an R&B/spoken word poetry festival in a 7200+ square foot room. All I had handy was this same pair of Peaveys, but they did the trick just fine, and at only 3/4 max volume. I was deeply impressed, to say the least. If you're like me, and your sound reinforcement needs are always changing, do your self a favor: buy a pair of PR 15D speakers. You'll find yourself using them quite a bit.
