The Rode PG2 is an excellent pistol grip shockmount for recording jobs with shotgun microphones. Made to reduce handling noise while providing a comfy, ergonomic handheld design, the Rode PG2 features a rubberized, contoured base. In addition, the PG2 offers a built-in cable management rig, allowing the microphone cable to run through the handle assembly, reducing operational hindrances. The PG2 is compatible with Rode's NTG-1, NTG-2, and NTG-3 microphones, yet is great for similarly-sized microphones. A 3/8" threading on the base lets you attach the PG2 to a boompole.

Designed for Rode's NTG-1, NTG-2, and NTG-3 shotgun microphones, the Rode PG2 also is great for microphones with diameters of 19-20mm or 21-22.5mm using the supplied mounts.

Ergonomic handheld design
The PG2 features a rubberized, contoured base, for comfy and ergonomic handling. What's more, a useful release lever on the mount allows for quick adjustment of the microphone angle.

Also connects to a boompole
Thanks to a 3/8" thread on the base, the Rode PG2 can easily attach to a boompole.

Built-in cable management system
The Rode PG2 features a useful system for managing cables. A regular XLR cable can easily run through the handle assembl, and down the base, for more comfy operation and for reduced handling noise.
