A close cousin the the Route 808, the Open Road scoops out the mids just a bit, opening up your guitar's tone and letting it breath a bit more. It's a great way to kick your amp into high gear without switching channels. While you can use the Open Road to get punchy leads it's less of a metal lead and more of a rock breakup kind of overdrive, hitting those rich, plexi-style tones when cranked.
