Sweet Octaver for Guitar and Bass!
You've got to love the octaver. One stomp and you can take your tone on a lowwwwww-end cruise. And what's cool about the Boss OC-3 (one of the most popular octavers on the face of the planet and maybe even on the arm of the planet, we're not sure what that is but we're just saying)... well it has a sweet polyphonic octave mode. Turn the upper right dial to "Poly" and start hearing your chords in crazy subterranean glory. As you can guess, that makes the Boss OC-3 a serious creative tool too. Cool. Cool tool. Get one, fool. (Wow, help us.)
Here's something else you'll want to know about the Boss OC-3: it works equally well for guitar as it does for bass. It has separate inputs for each to optimize the response. Blah blah blah, you're going to love this thing. Make sure you check out the Drive mode too... it adds distortion to your octave notes, giving them a fatter, more aggressive tone that your ears will appreciate.
Don't have octaver already? What are you waiting for!! The Boss OC-3 has probably the best reputation on the block, and since it's a Boss you know it's built like a tank and going to sound good as new for decades from now, probably more.Boss OC-3 "Super Octave" Guitar/Bass Effect Pedal Features at a Glance:
