Another cool thing about NOTION3 is how it has a real "mixer"-style environment for you to produce your track. Other music notation software can leave you hanging, pretty much asking you to go work in another program to mix everything down. But NOTION3 gives it to you straight, with individual level meters, peak monitoring, and solo/ute/pan controls. You can even insert VST effects you already own or use the two included IK Multimedia plug-ins - CSR Hall (reverb) and AmpliTube X-GEAR (guitar and bass simulation). Very cool.
All this and we haven't even told you about the live performance features. Ever wish you could take your score (or backing tracks) and take control of them on the big stage? Maybe you only have a 3-piece and you need to supplement it with some other tracks. Whatever you do, you can use NTempo to control the performance in real time. You can even control the dynamics in real time. NOTION3 even lets you stop, pause, repeat, or vamp... you can hold fermatas, stop on breath marks, repeat or completely skip out of a repeat section... it's no problem and it's all right there.
