Rackmountable Mixer That Gets the Job Done!
Rackmount mixers are just plain convenient. They fit in a regular old rack, no special "pop up" things necessary, and no cluttered desktop to deal with. And the controls you need to get your hands on are right on the front of it... you know: Level, Pan, Send, Effects Return, Master, and Power. That's it for the Alesis MultiMix 8 Line mixer, spread across eight channels with matching stereo line inputs on the back. There's one microphone input you can use on channel one instead. And that's about it. Just plain, simple, goodness. Outputs are on 1/4" connectors. There's a regular old IEC connector to give it power, so you don't need some wall wart. All in all, the Alesis MultiMix 8 Line mixer is a utility piece of gear that's offered at the right price.
