Music Background: Pro Musician

I've waited my entire life for a mic stand this sturdy. Thicker, beefier steel tubes and metal (not plastic!) clutch lets you set it and forget it. A little more height than cheaper stands also saves the backs of taller singers. This should be the last mic stand you'll ever have to buy.
