AES-8 is an eight-channel AES/EBU I/O card that optionally can be fitted in a Mainframe 6000. Together with the standard eight AES I/O channels in the Mainframe 6000, this sports a total of 16 channels digital I/O's in one Mainframe.

On top of this, more two ADA 24/96 cards can be installed in the same audio frame bringing the total to 20 I/Os, with any 16 Ins and 20 Outputs active at once.
