Line 6 M5 Stompbox Modeler Reviews
I have been on the hunt for some interesting pedals to compliment my sounds with both recording and live performances. I needed something that could easily fit in my pedalboard and at the same time could provide me with everything from preset delays for specifically timed songs to ambient sounds that could be used in various applications. Line 6 in my opinion has always leaned more towards the processed and digital types of sounds. Being a tone snob that I am, it was at first something I was extremely skeptical about. After just moments of playing around with this pedal, I realized a lot of the delays, reverbs, mods and filters alike were quite usable. Sidenote, not a big fan of the OD/DS in the M5, but I heard with enough tweaking they can also be good quality. I give the M5 2 thumbs up for ease of use, setup, functionality, and efficiency. For the cost and size equivilent to that of just one above average boutique pedal, this is an item hard to avoid! Highly reccomend ~
