Stereo Link Capabilities

Where's the midrange?

Music Background: Semi Pro / Hobbyist. 35 yrs of playing piano.
I own a KC 350. Even though it's basically a decent amp, I don't like the fact that it has a frequency gap. The only mid range tone you get is from the 12" speaker. Then there is a jump to the tweeter and some essential frequencies are not present. I am actually thinking of replacing the tweeter with a mid range horn to capture some of those missing frequencies. A high end tweeter misses these fre... read more [+]quencies and is up in the ssss's category. The stereo link is cool but they missed the boat on frequency response for use with a stage digital piano. It just is missing something in tone. I have to compensate by turning down the lows which in turn you lose again.
All in all not a bad amp but I expected more from a keyboard manufacturer. Kinda ironic. close [-]
