A Cab for Those Smaller Gigs
Not every gig you play will be in an arena. In fact, most will be in smaller venues. There is no need to lug your 8 x 10" cab to a small house party. Yes, it may look cool, but it is massive overkill. You still want a cool looking, great sounding cab for smaller gigs that can handle a decent amount of wattage if needed. You need the Hartke HyDrive HX112 bass cab. This cab houses a single 12" hybrid design speaker. The speaker has a paper outer cone for all the warm lows and an aluminum inner cone that produces the mids and highs with a sweetness like no other. A 1" titanium tweeter is built-in and has a switch for tuning it or turning it off. A hearty 300 watts of sound is produced by this small beast, but it's only 19" x 15" x 16". You could take this cab on the city bus with you and save some gas money. THe steel grill adds a nice, classy touch to the cab. If you need a smaller cab for gigs, you need to check out the Hartke HyDrive HX112 bass cab.
