Hohner FlexRack Reviews
I play mostly delta blues on guitar (slide, etc.) and have been playing the harp for about 2 years. I enjoy playing both instruments together but have been frustrated with traditional holders as they require that you stretch your neck forward to reach the harp as they are set at a "one size fits all" height. On top of that, I learned to play by tilting my harp on an angle for the best embouchure. This cant be done on a trad. holder. Then I found this baby. I was hesitant because of the cost, but decided my musical happiness was worth it. I gotta say it's been one of my better purchase decisions. This holder is phenomenal. I adjusts to get the best height and angle and my sound has improved greatly. It's solidly constructed and easy to use. Comfort around the neck is just ok but so were the others. It holds Lee Oscars well and since these are the only harps I use I cant really comment on how it will hold other harps. Well worth the money.
Works very well doesent slip it is a little bulky but do you want to look good or sound good
Best rack short of the $200 super custom rack. Been using the standard fare for the past 30 years and got tired of the rack constantly slipping.
This rack locks into place and you can adjust the angle. I am finally able to choke notes and play with tone.
If you wanted a rack that lets bend notes with thick tone and doesn't break the bank this is it.
Let's see how long these will last when used a lot.
