We've found the HDX-SDI also to be useful for lower data-rate editing because of its direct codec integration. The ability to load many codecs makes working with the Apple ProRes or ProRes HQ codec in Final Cut and Adobe Premiere Pro a snap, and opens the door to working with any other codec in most video software.
