Quick-Set Tilter for infinitely adjustable positioning
Thanks to the Tama HC72WN's Quick-Set Tilter, you can put it into any position you dig. This toothless tilter rig holds position using the friction of six metal discs, instead of old school gears, so you can adjust it to any angle.
Steel insert nut is less prone to stripping
Most stands traditionally have threads cut straight into the die-cast section - but Tama went another route with the HC72WN. Instead, they gave the stand a threaded steel insert nut inside the tripod base, which is much stronger and less prone to issues with stripping.
Reversible bottom prolongs life of parts
The cymbal bottom on the HC72WN Roadpro Series boom cymbal stand protects your cymbal's center hole from the tilter's shaft and threads. If you find that part of the nylon sleeve wears out after lots of playing abuse, you don't have to worry about getting a new part - just turn the cymbal bottom upside-down and double the life of it.
Patented noiseless design is perfect for stage and studio
Tama knows that you rely on your cymbal stands as a part of your overall sound - and that noisy, reverberant stands are a no-go in critical jobs, such as big stage performances and close-miking studio situations. To prevent issues with stand noise, Tama gave the HC72WN a special rubber cap at the end of the upper tube, to eliminate sway and rattling. What's more, they also added a special nylon sleeve underneath the die-cast joint of the base section, which further reduces swaying.
