One big problem with the unit is the tripod is small and light. That makes it prone to be tipped over easily. Every time the unit is tipped over, it stops recording. This is inconvenient; we forgot to check to see if it was still recording and missed taping 3/4 of the rehearsal. There's a light on top of the unit that tells when clipping occurs, but the light is small, and hard to see, especially when I'm concentrating on playing. This makes use of the windscreen impractical, until we figure out the optimal settings. We may begin using the mic clip adapter to improve visibility, stability, and protection. If I could see what it's doing, when it's clipping out, it'd be a lot easier than the trial and error we've been enduring. If I can't get this thing to work right, I'll begin using my M-Audio interface with Pro Tools SE to record. A shame.
