Here's a great way to protect your acoustic. With Gator's GL-Dread, you get the protection of a hardshell-style case, with the lighter weight of a gig bag-style case. How did they pull it off? Well, the Gl-Dread is a "Hard" Bag, essentially a hybrid of the best of qualities of the two kinds. The inside of the case is made out of dense EPS foam. The outside is covered in 600-denier ballistic material for major projection.
