Installation-friendly
Pro Co's floor pockets are U.L. listed enclosures, provided with a steel top set into a polymer carpet trim ring. Designed with aesthetics in mind, these pockets provide sound contractors (using standard electrical conduit and hardware) with a useful method of routing audio cabling through concrete and wood-joiced floors. Routing of cabling in this manner results in a neatly packaged, out-of-the-way-until-needed permanent installation.

Low-profile aesthetics, strong construction
Pleasing, pro aesthetics were part of the original design. These floor pockets were originally targeted for A.C., telecom, and computer signal-routing in office buildings, so Pro Co made sure to make these units unobtrusive and pleasing to the eye. The floor pockets are made of 16- and 14-gauge galvanized steel.

Convenient
Users lift the lid of the floor pockets for instant access to terminations for microphones, electronic instruments and speakers (inputs/outputs), for A.C. ins, or for video terminations as required. Exit ports allow cables to be used with the lid closed for user safety. When the performance is over, the lid closes flush to the floor and becomes nearly invisible.
