I'm new to computer recording and was worried that I'd have to spend alot of time setting things up but the Fast Track installed without any problems and I made my first song within about an hour, very nice!

I just needed an easy way to plug into my macbook, and this does that. The mic preamp isn't the greatest but I don't use it that much and can't really compare it to other boxes. It came with Protools essential, I haven't tried it yet, I'm a Digital Performer guy, but it's a nice extra. Basically a good and simple little unit.
