Frequency filtered effects add immeasurable effects flexibility
The DJM-700 introduces Pioneer Pro DJ's Effect Frequency Filter, a function that lets you apply effects to only a select band of your audio's frequency spectrum. As opposed to old school effects processors that affect the whole frequency spectrum, the Effect Frequency Filter on the DJM-700 lets you use your effects with surgical precision. For example, if you want to add a flanger onto the hi-hats of a track, you can zero in on the frequency band of the hats with a set of filters and only apply the flanger to that band. The possibilities are endless!
Built-in multi-effects engine give you tons of sonic possibilities
Not only does the Pioneer Pro DJ DJM-700 have a full line of special effects from delay/echo, to transformer, filter, flanger, phaser, reverb, robot, and crush; it also utilizes a more accurate version of the Beat Effect Pioneer Pro DJ launched with the DJM-600. Beat Effect scans and finds the tempo and the adjusts the DJM-700's time based effects accordingly, making it a snap to synch up delays and other modulation effects.
Talk Over function preserves your mix while letting you be heard
Pioneer Pro DJ knows that DJing involves keeping track of a lot of details at once, and that it can be difficult to restore your mix once you've pulled down the faders to use your microphone. Pioneer Pro DJ's Talk Over function on the DJM-700 makes talking over your mix as really simple as picking up you microphone. And soon as the DJM-700 senses incoming audio from the microphone channel, it automatically lowers the rest of the channels. Once you stop talking, the volume comes back up on its own.
