The DBMax was designed specifically for use in broadcast, although it works sweet in any application, including post production, CD mastering, and surround production. The DBMax optimizes the signal for any use you go with. You can select any of the presets; go with "wizard" and let DBMAX make all of the decisions for you; or if you prefer, go in and dial in to your heart's content. DBMAX comes with 52 ROM presets, and room for 128 user presets.
