More than just an interface! The Steinberg CI2+ gives you the right set of inputs and outputs for basic recording. There are two mic preamps, so you can record in stereo if you want. In fact, because the CI2+ comes with Cubase AI recording software... which features a ton of great amplifier/effects for guitar & bass... you can get loads of great recorded tones, without having to crank up your amp. What else is cool about the CI2+?Well, we hinted at it before. The CI2+ is more than just an audio interface. It actually features built-in controls for Cubase, so you won't have to use the mouse when you're in the creative process. Just use the transport controls to start/stop recording functions. You can even plug in a footswitch (not included) and program a set of controls you want the footswitch to step through. That way, if you're playing guitar or across the room singing, you can easily control your recording software without leaving the microphone.
