Because Numark made the C3USB's USB functions to be totally class compliant, you never have to worry about compatibility for sending or receiving USB audio. The C3USB has two USB ports, both of which can be configured to either send or receive computer audio, so you can mix the audio from one computer, while you send your mix via USB to another for recording. This function offers the C3USB amazing flexibility when used as a central unit for parties where the host may have music on a laptop he or she wants to play. Also, since you don't have to worry about drivers, you can use the C3USB as an audio interface for most audio DAW software.

Because Numark's C3USB is a rackmount unit, integrating it into your mobile DJ rig for really simple transportation is highly useful. Each of the five channels of in have RCA connections to match the out levels of most DJ-style toys. There are two microphone preamplifiers on the back of the C3USB with 1/4" connections, and a combination XLR / 1/4" jack on the front for quick access. Two assignable crossfaders give you the channel control you expect from a DJ mixer, and each channel on the C3USB has its own three band equalizer, so you can tune your audio to match whatever venue you are DJing in.
