I've owned several different versions of the Big Muff Pi over the years, and this one might be my favorite. With the tone on and wicker off, you've got the same sound that made the Muff famous. The wicker switch in the on position gives you a high-freq boost, but I'm not sure why it's called "wicker." This isn't my favorite sound on this pedal, but it's not bad. Just not my favorite. However, disengage the tone control by flipping the tone switch to off, and this instantly gets meaner than any Muff I've ever heard. Long story short, great pedal with classic sound and an even better, nastier fuzz waiting in the wing. A must-have for Muff fans!
