Fantastic travel guitar

Music Background: Devoted amateur musician, guitarist
Pros: Light, well-built, pleasant-sounding instrument that's great for practicing on the road. Fits in an overhead bin and doesn't sacrifice build quality.

Has its own timbre that sounds a bit like a lute. Would stand out in an ensemble of nylon string guitars (can't wait to try recording with this!)

Cons: not a full-scale instrument. This means some adjustment when ... read more [+]switching back to a 'normal' 25.5" scale instrument.

Cannot take hard-tension strings (this may not matter to you)

The bridge is not formed as well as it could be - the rounded shape can make it prone to buzzes. I recommend replacing it with a properly formed one (one that is flat on the front side). A cheap, easy fix. GraphTec makes a good one out of synthetic bone-like material called "TUSQ". close [-]
