Seven Classic Instruments
The instruments included in the Abbey Road Keyboards ReFill are a classic assortment of instruments that reside at Abbey Road. There's a Steinway Upright lovingly dubbed the "Mrs. Mills Piano" with lacquered hammers for a tack piano-esque sound. The Challen Studio Piano offers a uniquely long sustain. The Hammond RT-3 complete with a Leslie Model 122 rocks mythical Hammond tone, while the Mannborg Harmonium is a reed organ with a split keyboard. The Mellotron MKII evokes the sounds of "Strawberry Fields Forever." Rounding up the instruments in Abbey Road Keyboards are a pair of bell-like instruments, the Schiedmayer Celeste with quiet yet psychedelic-tinged tones, and Tubular Bells, like the ones heard in the Beatle's "When I'm 64."

Original Equipment
The Abbey Road Keyboards were recorded using the original microphones, outboard and classic mixing desk from Abbey Road's Studio Two, re-creating not only the sound of the instruments themselves, but the totally signal paths, technology, and recording techniques that is the Abbey Road sound. Each instrument was captured using multiple microphones placed at different locations in Studio Two's stunning sounding recording space, allowing for full ambience control in Reason.
