Music Background: Playing rock for 20 years
Having never played another AC30, but having played many other amps, I found the AC30 (especially with the AlNiCo blue speakers) to be very organic and natural sounding. I play a 1984 Les Paul Custom with '57 reissue humbuckers, and this amp really shows the "wood" of the guitar. This amp also really shows the quality of your effects so be sure to use quality effects with this amp to avoid sounding chinky. I havent found another review on this amp, so hopefully this will spur on others to create them!
