Since its release in 1982 the Type 4006 microphone has become a worldwide studio standard. It's one of the most popular Standard Microphones in DPA's line. This is the 4006-TL, a transformerless version of the famous omnidirectional recording mic, and it features an extremely linear frequency response from 15Hz to 20kHz, high sensitivity and a low noise-floor. The 4006-TL is phantom powered (P48), which together with the extended range of acoustic pressure equalizers and different protection grids turns the 4006-TL into an extremely cost effective solution.
