The Genelec 1032A is a two-way active monitoring system including loudspeaker drivers, speaker enclosure, multiple power amps and active low-level crossovers, and let's not forget that mythical Genelec sound. With 10" woofers and 1" tweeters, the 1032A offers extended bass response, and an increased max SPL, but still maintains a small, stream-lined size perfect for nearfield monitoring from either stand on your console's meter bridge. Genelec conservatively rates these beauties with 180 watt bass and 120 watt treble amps, 36Hz to 23kHz frequency response, max SPL greater than 124dB, self-noise lower than 10dB, harmonic distortion less than .5%; you get the picture, these are stellar monitors!
